Nari Sanvedana Women Empowerment Foundation

We are located in Kothrud, which is a nice part of Pune. Our office is in Karishma Society, specifically H.No 201 in the A9 building. It’s right near Sangam Press, so it’s easy to give directions. This foundation is all about helping women find their feet. We do a lot of empowerment work, but we don't like using big words like that too much. Mostly, we just talk to women and see what they need to get ahead. Whether it’s learning a new skill or just getting some support, we try to be there. The office feels like a regular apartment, which it is. We have a few chairs and some computers. It's a quiet place for the most part, unless we have a group session going on. Pune is a city that values education and growth, and we try to fit into that. We've been here at Karishma Society for a bit. People know us as the ladies who help out. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. If you knock, one of us will just come to the door. It’s a practical way to run things. We focus on the work rather than how the office looks. It can get busy during the week, but we always make time for anyone who drops in for a chat. Sometimes we have tea together while we figure out how to solve a problem. It's just simple, daily work.
