K. K. Waterproofing

We've been doing waterproofing for a long time now. Our shop is K. K. Waterproofing, right at No. 71 in Narayan Peth. If you know the Ashtabuja Durgadevi Mandir, we are basically right next to it. You’ll see it mentioned twice on our mail because it’s the only way people really find us in this maze of streets. People mostly come to us when they see water marks on their ceilings or when the monsoon starts and things get really messy. It’s not fancy work. We spend a lot of time on roofs under the hot sun or crawling into tight, damp spots to find where a leak is coming from. Some days it is just us and a lot of chemicals and tar. The area here is always busy because of the temple, so there's always noise outside. We just keep our heads down and get the job done. Sometimes people just stop by to ask for directions since we're so close to the Mandir. We have a small crew and most of us have been working together for years. We know which houses in this part of town have old pipes and which ones have roof issues. It isn't just about painting some stuff on a wall, it’s about making sure the water stays out for good. It can be hard work but it’s what we do. We don't have a big office or anything, just our tools and the supplies we need. If you're walking near the Mandir, you'll see our sign. It's nothing special but we are there.
