Pet Packaging

Pet Packaging is found at S. No. 14 in the Dhadge Industrial Estate. This is out by Nanded Phata on the Sinhgad Road in Pune. If you know the area, you know how the traffic can get around here. Our spot in the estate is usually busy with the sound of plastic being molded and moved. We have stacks of bottles and containers everywhere. They are clear, blue, or green, and they take up a lot of room. The floor is concrete and can get pretty cold in the winter mornings. We have a small desk near the entrance where we keep the logbooks. It’s not a place for sitting around. Everyone is usually moving something or checking a machine. The air has that warm, slightly sweet smell of heated plastic. We get a lot of trucks coming through the estate, so there is always a bit of shouting to be heard over the engines. We don't have a fancy website or a big sign. We just have our name on the gate. Lunch is usually brought from home and eaten quickly so we can get back to it. It’s hard work, and the hours can be long when we have a big order to finish. We just keep our heads down and do what needs to be done. It’s a regular industrial unit, nothing more and nothing less. We've been operating out of this same shed for years and we know the layout by heart.
