Vertex. Our place is at 25/2, right across from R. K. Industries. We’re near the Savli Dhaba in Nanded Phata. If you’re driving through Pune, you’ve probably passed by us. The dhaba is a good landmark because everyone goes there for lunch. We spend our days dealing with whatever comes through the door. It’s an industrial area, so there’s always noise and the smell of diesel. We have a small crew and we’ve known each other for a long time. The office is just a corner with some old desks and a computer that acts up sometimes. We don't have any big slogans or fancy uniforms. We just wear what’s comfortable for working in a shop. Sometimes the traffic at Nanded Phata makes it hard for the delivery trucks to get in. We wait out the rush hours by drinking tea and catching up on the news. It's a practical way to run things. We’ve been at this location for a while and the landlord is a decent guy. The building is a bit old, but it stays cool enough in the shade. We’re just regular people trying to get the day's tasks finished before heading home to our families. It’s not a complex operation. We focus on getting things done without making a big fuss about it. Usually, the radio is playing something in the background to keep the mood light while we work through the afternoon.
