Our Pune branch is located out in Chakan, in the MIDC Phase-III industrial area. Bimal Prasad Kochim is the main person here at Nagarjuna Construction Co.Ltd. If you know the Village Nigoje area in Tal-Khed, you know it’s a very industrial and busy place. Our office reflects that. It is surrounded by factories and heavy machinery, so it’s never really quiet. We’re right in the middle of all the action. The office itself is pretty functional. We have a lot of people coming in from the field with muddy boots and loud voices. It’s a place for work, not for showing off. We deal with a lot of technical stuff and labor management, which means there is a lot of back-and-forth communication all day long. The air is often filled with the sound of trucks passing by, and we’ve all learned to talk over the noise. It is a bit of a commute for some of us, but being right there in the MIDC zone is necessary for the kind of construction work we handle. We don’t have any polished presentations for you. Most of our day is spent solving problems on the fly or making sure the supplies arrived where they were supposed to. It’s a gritty, hard-working environment, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. We just show up and do the job because that is what needs to happen.
