N Mehta & Company is located in Shukrawar Peth, right in the Sayaji Ganj area. If you are familiar with this part of town, you know how crowded the streets can get, especially during the middle of the day. Our office is a simple place where we handle a lot of paperwork and administrative things. There are stacks of files on the desks and the sound of the ceiling fan is always there in the background. We have been operating from this building for a long time now. It feels like we know every corner of this neighborhood by heart. The morning usually starts with a bit of cleaning and then we get straight into the phone calls and visitors who drop by. It isn't a modern glass building; it is more of an old-school setup that works for us. Sometimes the power goes out and we just wait it out or talk about what is happening in the local news while we wait. We don't use any big words to describe what we do here. We just come in, do the work, and go home to our families in the evening. The stairs up to the office are a bit steep, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it feels right. Most of our clients are people we have known for years. We just keep things practical and honest in everything we do.
