Mulekhar Shirish Vishnu

Down on Rabari Colony Road, near Rajendra Park in Karve Nagar, you’ll find our workplace at number 63. It’s a fairly straightforward setup. Shirish Vishnu and the rest of the team spend most of our time hunkered down over desks that have seen better days. The area is a mix of people living their lives and small businesses trying to get ahead. Being so close to the park is nice because you can see some green trees from the corner of the office window. The road outside can get a bit dusty when the wind picks up, so we spend a fair amount of time wiping down the monitors and the drafting boards. We don't have a big sign out front or anything like that. People usually find us because they know the neighborhood or someone told them where to look. Inside, it’s mostly just the sound of pens clicking and the occasional phone call. We have a small cupboard for the snacks and a fridge that makes a strange rattling sound every twenty minutes. It’s not the most modern office in the world, but it gets the job done. We spend a lot of time talking to each other about how to solve specific problems on a project. It’s a lot of back and forth until we get the details right. It’s just a normal day-to-day routine for us here in Karve Nagar. We finish up when the work is done and head out into the evening traffic.
