You can find us at F13 in Sai Sayaji Nagar, which is over in the Warje area of Pune. It’s a quiet enough spot compared to the city center, but it keeps us busy. Being consultants, we spend a lot of time looking at plans and talking to clients about their ideas. The office is basically a room full of files, a couple of computers, and some old chairs. It’s not one of those high-rise Pune offices with glass walls. We prefer it this way. It’s easier to talk to people when things are simple. Sometimes a client comes in with a problem that takes all day to puzzle out. We sit there with tea and go through the details until it makes sense. Warje has grown so much lately, so there’s always something new happening nearby. We handle a variety of consulting tasks, mostly related to building and planning. It’s a lot of double-checking numbers and making sure the local rules are followed. It gets a bit monotonous sometimes, but seeing a project actually start after weeks of planning is a good feeling. We aren't a huge firm. It’s just a few of us who know the industry. We take the work seriously but keep the atmosphere pretty casual. No ties or suits here, just plain shirts and a lot of work to do before the weekend rolls around and we can finally clear the desk.
