M/S Pragati Construction

We are over here in Solapur, specifically in the Kadadichal area right across from the railway station. If you know the Mallinath Provisional Stores, that’s where you’ll find us. We’ve been running Pragati Construction from this spot for a while now. It isn't a huge fancy office or anything like that. Just some desks and chairs where we look over site plans and talk to the guys doing the heavy lifting on the ground. The trains go by all day and it gets pretty noisy, but we are used to it. Most people around here know us because we’re always coming and going from the store. We focus on local building jobs, mostly small stuff that needs getting done around town. My uncle started this and we just kept it going. We don’t have a big marketing team or a website with shiny photos. It is just us working in the heat and making sure the bricks get laid straight. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit outside the provisional store and wait for it to come back on. It’s a simple way of working. We handle the paperwork for the contracts here and keep the tools stored nearby. If you are stepping off the train at Kadadichal, we are right there. No need to look too hard. We just do what we do and try to stay busy every month.
