B.E. Billimoria & Co. Ltd operates out of a space here in Kothrud, specifically in the Kumudini Ganesh Housing Society. It’s tucked away in Modern Colony, which is a nice part of Pune to be in. We share the space with A.B. Kulkarni’s setup at A6. It’s more of a home-style office than those big tech parks you see on the outskirts of the city. We like it this way because it’s easy for us to manage things without the stress of a massive corporate building. We spend most of our days here handling paperwork and talking to people about ongoing projects. Kothrud has changed a lot over the years, getting more crowded, but our little corner remains pretty steady. We aren't trying to impress anyone with expensive furniture or logos everywhere. It’s just a place to work. Sometimes the neighbors stop by for a chat, and that’s just how things are in a housing society. We’ve got our files and our desks, and that’s about all we need to get the job done. It’s a practical arrangement that works for us. We don't have a huge marketing budget or a team of people in suits. It is just a few of us making sure everything runs smoothly from our office in Modern Colony. Being in Pune gives us a good base, and we’re happy with how we’ve set things up here over the years. It is a very simple and quiet way to work.
