Mould Shop

The shop is out here in the Al-Jubail Industrial Area, which means there is always a lot of dust and noise from the bigger plants around us. We use the PO Box 10542 for most of our mail because the physical delivery out here can be a bit of a mess. It is called the Mould Shop, and that’s exactly what happens inside these walls. We spend the whole day working with various materials to get the shapes right. It gets very warm in the afternoons, even with the cooling running, because the machines put off quite a bit of heat. Usually, there are three or four of us here at any given time, covered in a bit of grit from the grinding work. We don’t have a fancy waiting room or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in the back near the workbenches. Indipco is the name on some of our older paperwork, but we mostly just think of ourselves as the shop. We’ve been in Jubail for a good stretch of time now. The industrial area has grown a lot, and we’ve seen shops come and go, but we stay busy with the orders that come through. We keep a kettle in the corner for breaks. Lunch is usually quick because there is always something cooling or setting that needs attention. It's just a regular place where work gets done by people who don't mind getting their hands dirty.
