Western Agro Products

Western Agro Products is found at 277/416 in the Moshi Industrial Zone. It’s a rugged part of town with a lot of big trucks and warehouses. We deal with products for farmers and gardening. Things like seeds, tools, and different types of fertilizer. The warehouse has a very specific smell of earth and dried grain. I’ve always liked it. Most of our day is spent moving heavy bags or helping load up the local farmers’ trailers. It is definitely physical work and we often go home with dust on our clothes. Moshi has changed a lot since we first opened up. There are way more buildings now and the traffic is much heavier. We’ve stayed right here through all of it. We know most of the people who come in by their first names. They often stop to chat about the weather or how the crops are doing this year. We don't have a big office or a marketing department. We just have a small desk where we keep the invoices. Sometimes we run out of a certain type of seed and have to wait for the next shipment to arrive. We don't try to sugarcoat it; we just tell the farmers the truth. We try to keep our prices fair so people keep coming back. It’s a simple way to run a business. We aren't looking to get huge. We’re just happy being part of the Moshi industrial community and staying busy.
