Moonlight Charitable Foundation

We are based in the Sadashiv Peth area of Pune. Our address is New 1366, and it’s right in the heart of one of the older parts of the city. Moonlight Charitable Foundation isn't a huge organization with hundreds of employees. It’s just a small group of us trying to be helpful. Sadashiv Peth is a busy place with narrow lanes and lots of history, and we fit right in. Our office is simple and functional. We spend a lot of time talking to local residents and seeing what they need. Sometimes it's about food, sometimes it's about education or health. We don't have a set script or a corporate way of doing things. If someone comes to us with a problem, we see if we can do something about it. We’ve been here for a while, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change as new shops open and old ones close. We don’t use any fancy language to describe our work because it’s mostly just hard work and persistence. The building we are in is old, but it has character. We keep our records in stacks and try to keep up with the daily tasks. It’s not always easy to keep things running, but we do our best with what we have. Most people just walk in off the street when they see our sign. It feels like a community effort for everyone involved. We are just glad to be here doing our bit.
