Monarch Designers

Monarch Designers is based at 102 on Dinesh Mill Road in the Nigidi area. It’s a fairly straightforward location to find once you get onto the main road. Our office is a modest space that we’ve occupied for several years now. It’s mostly filled with desks, computers, and a lot of rolls of paper that we haven't quite found a permanent home for. The road outside can get pretty noisy with the trucks and cars, but we’ve learned to tune it out over time. Inside, it’s just a few of us working on various projects as they come in. We don't have a big front desk or anyone to greet you at the door; usually, one of us just looks up from what we’re doing. We spend a lot of time staring at drawings and trying to figure out how to fit everything together. It’s not always easy, and there are days when we feel a bit stuck, but that’s just how it goes. We don't use any high-tech gadgets or fancy software that we don't need. We just use what works for us. There is a small area in the back where we keep a kettle and some biscuits for when we need a break. Nigidi is a decent place to be, with plenty of local spots to grab a quick bite. We’ve built a bit of a life here and we’re happy to just keep doing what we do.
