R N Fabrication

Our workshop is right across from the Corinthians Club in Mohamadwadi. Being in Pune 60 for this long means we know the neighborhood pretty well. It's a fabrication shop, so expect some noise. We spend our days cutting metal and welding frames together. It’s gritty work. The floor is usually covered in scrap pieces and the smell of iron is everywhere. We don't really have a fancy showroom. What you see is just the guys working. Sometimes we are doing gates, other times it’s just small repairs for someone nearby. We started small and honestly, the place hasn't changed much except for a few new tools. It gets loud when the grinders are going. If you come by, you’ll probably find someone covered in soot. We don't really do the whole office thing. We just take the measurements and get to work. Dealing with metal can be stubborn sometimes, but we’ve got the hang of it. The rain usually makes things a bit messy around the entrance, but we manage. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in Pune. We just like finishing a job and seeing it hold up. It's hard work, but it pays the bills and keeps the hands busy. There’s always a pile of rods in the corner and a half-finished project on the bench. That is just how it is here. Most of us live nearby, so we just walk or ride over in the morning and get started on the welding.
