Modelcam Technologies

Our place is over at Plot No 19 in Netaji Subhash Society. It is right opposite to Hadapsar, which as everyone knows, is always busy. If you know the Pune-28 area, finding us isn't too hard once you get off the main road. We work out of D M Jadhav’s premises here. Modelcam Technologies is basically about technical stuff, dealing with software and maybe some training or design work depending on what kind of project comes through the door that week. Pune is such a big hub for all kinds of engineering, so there is always something new going on around us. We started off pretty small and we have stayed that way because it is just easier to manage everything ourselves without a lot of extra staff. The office isn't anything fancy to look at, just a few desks and some computers where we spend most of our waking hours. Sometimes the internet acts up or the power goes out in the afternoon, but we just manage and keep going. Most of the people who come by to see us are looking for help with specific technical problems or they want to learn how to use certain design tools a bit better. We don't really do any big advertising or marketing; usually, people find us through word of mouth or because they happen to live nearby in the society. Working near Hadapsar means we are close to the industrial areas. The traffic can be a real mess in the evenings, so we try to get our meetings done early.
