Model Arts

You can find us over in Shukrawar Peth at number 1310. It’s a busy part of town, always something happening right outside the front door. We spend our time working on models and artistic pieces. It’s mostly hands-on work. There’s glue, paint, and scrap materials everywhere on the floor. We don’t mind the clutter though. It feels like home to us. People walk in looking for specific supplies or wanting a project started for their own needs. We’ve been at this for some time now. Some days are much quieter than others. We like it when someone brings in a challenging idea. It keeps the mind sharp. The shop isn’t very big, so we have to stay organized, even if it doesn’t look like it to a stranger. We have a few old tables that have seen a lot of use over the decades. The lighting isn't the best in the back, but we make do with what we have. Shukrawar Peth is an old neighborhood with a lot of character. We fit right in with the other small shops around here. We don't spend money on advertising or anything like that. People usually just hear about us through word of mouth. Sometimes a neighbor stops by just to chat for a bit. We usually have some tea on the go in the corner. It’s a simple life, making things with our hands. We try to keep the prices fair for everyone.
