Mitti Ke Rang Foundation

Our place is located at Atharshri IV on Mundhwa Road in Hadapsar. It’s a bit of a drive depending on where you're coming from, but we like it here. Mitti Ke Rang Foundation isn't about fancy titles or big speeches. We started because we liked the idea of getting back to basics. The office is really just a functional space where we keep our supplies and records. There's a lot of dust that comes in from the road, so we're always cleaning the windows. We have a small team, and we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering the phone to carrying boxes. Hadapsar has changed a lot lately, but we stay focused on our little corner. We have a few plants on the windowsill that we sometimes forget to water. It’s a very human place. We have disagreements about where the stapler went or whose turn it is to get the snacks. We don’t try to act like we have all the answers. Most of the time we are just learning as we go. We work with materials that come from the earth, and things can get a bit muddy. That’s okay by us. It feels honest to work with your hands and see something take shape. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a sleek office. We just want to do the work and go home tired at the end of the day.
