Mitaoe Entrepreneurial Developmentfoundation

We are the Mitaoe Entrepreneurial Development Foundation and our place is located out in Alandi Devachi, near the Dehu Phata in Pune. It’s in the Khed District, which is a busy area but we like it here. We focus on helping people start their own things, like small businesses or little projects they’ve had in their heads for years. It’s mainly about giving folks the tools they need so they don’t have to depend on someone else for a job every month. We see a lot of people with good ideas but they just don’t know where to begin or how to handle the paperwork. That’s where we come in. We sit down, talk through what’s possible, and try to make a practical plan. It’s nothing fancy, just a room with some mismatched chairs and a lot of talking over tea. We’ve been here for a while now and have seen quite a few people go off and do their own thing successfully. It makes the day go by faster when you see that kind of progress. Alandi is a nice place to be based, even with the crowds. We aren't corporate people with suits and shiny shoes. Most days we are just wearing regular clothes and drinking tea while working through boring paperwork or planning the next small workshop. It gets dusty around here sometimes with the traffic, but we don't mind. We just keep our heads down and try to help the local community grow.
