Mit Piping

We are based in the Circular Building on the ground floor over at the MIT Campus. It is a pretty straightforward place where we handle piping supplies for various projects. Being on the ground floor makes it a lot easier for us when we have to move heavy pipes in or out of the workspace. The MIT Campus always has a lot of movement, with students and staff passing by, but we mostly stay busy in our own section near the S.No marker. We have been here for a while now, and the walls are a bit scuffed from moving inventory around all day. There is usually a bit of a metallic smell in the air, which you get used to after a few days of working here. We do not have any big fancy signs or a reception desk. Usually, someone just walks in and asks if we have a certain size of pipe or a specific fitting. We spend a lot of our time checking the stock and making sure we haven't run out of the basics. It can get a bit cluttered with all the different lengths of tubing, but we know where everything is kept. Sometimes we have to wait for a shipment to arrive before we can help someone, and we just sit and talk for a bit. It’s a very local way of doing things. It is just a regular job for us, dealing with practical things that people need for their construction or repair work.
