Our place is situated in the Empire Estate, over in Wing K4, Room 301. We are right there on the Old Mumbai Pune Highway in Chinchwad. Being on the highway means it is never really quiet, you can always hear the trucks and cars zooming by outside. It is Pune 19, which is a busy industrial and residential mix. We have been here for a good stretch of time. The office is pretty functional. We have the usual desks and a lot of equipment around because that is just the nature of what we do. It is not the kind of place where you worry about everything being perfectly shiny. We are more concerned with getting the work finished and making sure the day-to-day operations don't hit too many snags. The parking can be a bit of a headache if you arrive late, so most of us try to get in early. There are a few small eateries nearby where we grab lunch or some quick tea when we need a break from the screen. It is a standard work environment where people just do their jobs and then head home. We have seen a lot of changes in the Chinchwad area over the years, but our little corner in Empire Estate stays pretty much the same. It is just a practical spot for a business like ours to be located while we handle our daily requirements and tasks.
