Nss Polymers

Nss Polymers is tucked away in the MIDC area of Bhosari, right at Plot No. J-453. Pune gets pretty hot in the middle of the year, and inside the unit, it’s always a few degrees warmer because of the machines running. We work with plastics, mostly pellets and melted stuff that goes into the molds. The floor is usually covered in some kind of fine dust, no matter how much we sweep it at the end of the shift. It’s a busy industrial area, so there’s always the sound of trucks and other factories nearby. We don’t have any big signs out front, just the plot number painted on the gate so people can find us. Most of the guys here have been working together for years, so we don’t need to talk much to know what needs to be done next. Lunch is usually spent sitting on the plastic crates outside if the weather is nice enough. We don’t do anything fancy here, just run the cycles and check the parts as they come out. The electricity goes out sometimes, and we just sit around and wait for it to come back on. It’s a living, and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes we have to stay late if a big order comes in, but we mostly try to finish up by six and beat the traffic.
