Metro Hospital Ortho Rehabilitation & General Hospital

You can find us at 448Rasta Pet, which is right in the heart of the Rasta Peth and Kasba Peth area. Metro Hospital Ortho Rehabilitation & General Hospital is a bit of a mouthful, but it describes what we do. We have a lot of people coming in for bone issues and rehab work. The rehab room is probably the loudest part of the building, with patients doing their exercises and the physios giving instructions. It’s a very hands-on place. The street outside in Rasta Peth is narrow and always full of life, which is typical for this part of town. Our building fits right in with the local surroundings. We have stairs that keep us all fit, and the rooms are filled with various braces and support gear. It’s a practical environment. We don't do much in the way of style, but we have everything we need to help people get back on their feet. Some of our patients stay for a long time during their recovery, so we get to know them pretty well. The staff stays busy with the general hospital side too, handling whatever comes through the door. It’s an honest day’s work in an old part of the city. We deal with the usual glitches like old plumbing or messy paperwork, but we just fix it and move on. It is about getting people moving again, one step at a time, right here in Kasba Peth.
