Metaphors (Amala Sheth)

Metaphors is located over in Shivajinagar, specifically at 1219 Maitra. Amala Sheth is the one behind it all. Pune is a busy place, but our spot here feels a bit more settled. It’s not a huge industrial unit or a cold office space. It’s more of a personal work area where things actually get done. We don't spend a lot of time on fancy presentations or wearing suits. Most days, we’re just dressed comfortably and focused on the projects at hand. The 411004 area is a good place to be, with plenty of life around us. We like being in Shivajinagar because it’s central and everyone knows the landmark. Our workspace is filled with the things we need to work, and maybe a few too many coffee mugs. It’s a bit messy at times, but that’s just how we function best. We don't follow a strict corporate handbook. If something needs fixing, we just fix it. We talk to each other directly without a bunch of emails. It feels more like a small group of people working toward a common goal rather than a big machine. We take our time to get things right, but we don't stress over being perfect. It’s a very human way to run a business. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big words. We just show up at Maitra and do what we do.
