Met Foundation

Our spot is out by the Mumbai Nashik Highway in Pundhe, at P 12126 in the Psiep Soc Ltd area. It’s a bit out of the main city rush, which actually helps us focus on what we are doing at Met Foundation. You can hear the trucks and cars going by all day, but inside it’s pretty quiet. We are just a handful of folks trying to put together something that works for the local community. It’s not a glamorous setup by any means. We have basic furniture and a lot of files, but it serves the purpose. We started this because we saw things in Pundhe that could be better and decided to stop just talking about it. Most of us live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad, though the highway traffic can be a real headache in the evenings. We don't have a PR department or anyone to write fancy speeches for us. We just do the work, whether that's helping someone with a problem or organizing a local meet-up. It’s about being present and being reachable for the people around here. Sometimes folks just walk in because they saw our name outside. We try to be helpful whenever we can. It’s a very grounded way of operating, and we prefer it that way. No big corporate rules here, just common sense and a desire to help out our neighbors on this side of the road.
