Meridian Housing & Construction

Meridian Housing & Construction is based over here in Camp at Amrutlal Ni Pole, right by Khadia Gate 5. If you know the area, you know it stays pretty crowded and the streets are narrow, so getting to the office can be a bit of a challenge some mornings. We have been in this building for quite a bit, and the walls are covered with old site maps and dusty blueprints that we haven't looked at in years. There are only a handful of us working here, so the atmosphere is usually pretty quiet unless a contractor stops by to argue about a delivery. We spend most of our time looking at schedules or trying to track down where a truck has gone. The office is small and the furniture is mismatched, but it’s where we do all our planning and paperwork. Outside, the noise of Khadia Gate is constant, but inside we just focus on the task at hand. We don't have a big reception desk or a person waiting to greet you; usually, someone just looks up from their computer and asks what you need. It’s a practical way to run a construction business, and we prefer it that way. No one wears suits here, mostly just boots and jeans because we’re often heading out to a site somewhere. It’s a lot of hard work and long hours, but this spot in Camp feels like the right place to be doing it.
