Meditronics

We are situated in Kothrud, right above the Kothrud Post Office. The building is called Borse Bldg and we are in Flat No 1. It’s a very easy landmark because everyone knows where the post office is near Karve Putala. Karve Road is always buzzing with activity and traffic noise. Meditronics has been operating from this flat for a while. It’s a bit of a strange setup, being in what looks like an apartment, but it serves our needs just fine. We have different rooms for different things—one for the electronics, one for the paperwork and files. It’s a quiet enough place once you’re inside and close the door. We spend a lot of time on repairs and checking medical electronic devices. It requires a lot of patience and steady hands. Sometimes the noise from the post office downstairs drifts up, but it’s mostly just the sound of people going about their day. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of workers. It’s just a handful of us who know the technical stuff and the machines. We drink a lot of tea and try to keep up with the incoming work that piles up on the desks. The parking situation on Karve Road is usually a total nightmare, so we tell people to be careful where they leave their scooters. It’s a practical, local operation. We don’t put on airs. We just fix things and help people out when they come by.
