Being at Bhosari Industrial Estate means there's always noise around. Maxis Motin Controls is right at J/260. We've been here a while. Some days the machines are loud, and other days we're just sorting out paperwork. The heat in Manjalpur gets to everyone in the afternoons, but we keep going. We spend most of our time on control systems. It's not flashy work. You walk into the workshop and you'll see grease and parts everywhere. We aren't big on fancy offices. Most of us just wear old shirts to work because of the dust. Sometimes we have tea together near the entrance when things slow down. It’s a tight space but we make it work. Customers come by, usually looking for a specific part or a fix. We don't have a big reception area. Just a desk and some chairs. Usually, someone is on the floor tinkering with a motor or a panel. Life at the industrial estate is basically just trying to get things out on time. We don't really do the whole corporate meeting thing. If something needs doing, we just talk across the room. It’s straightforward. We know our neighbors and they know us. That’s how it goes here in the estate. We just try to keep the lights on and the work moving. Nothing more to it. We just show up every morning and see what's on the schedule for the day.
