We are over here in San Pedro, specifically at Villa Milagrosa Subdivision. It’s a quiet enough spot in Barangay San Vicente. We’ve been at B5 L30 for a bit now. Sometimes the traffic coming from Manila can be a real headache, especially on Friday afternoons. Most days we are just busy handling the wood and making sure things get moved out to where they need to go. It isn't a fancy office. We have our desks and some fans running because Laguna gets pretty humid in the afternoons. If you are looking for us, you have to navigate the subdivision streets, which can be a bit confusing if it’s your first time visiting. We usually tell people to just follow the main road until they see the block. Most of the guys here live nearby so we know the local shops for lunch. We don't really do big speeches or fancy posters. We just show up, do the work with the timber, and try to get home before the rain starts. It is a lot of checking lists and making sure the inventory matches what the warehouse says. Sometimes the paperwork piles up on the corner of the desk, but we get through it. It’s just how things go here at Matimco. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years. San Pedro is growing fast. We just keep doing our part day by day and try to stay organized.
