Master Handlers is located at 17 of 17/1B in the Kothrud Industrial Estate. If you’ve spent any time in Kothrud, you know it’s a busy part of Pune. Our spot in the industrial estate is where all the heavy lifting happens. We work on material handling equipment. It’s noisy and there’s always the smell of grease and metal in the air. The workshop floor is usually full of cranes or conveyors that we are putting together or fixing up for a client. We aren't sitting in a shiny office tower. We are right here on the ground, getting our hands dirty every day. The guys on the floor have been with us for years. They know these machines inside and out. Sometimes a customer comes in with a problem that seems impossible, and we just have to sit there and scratch our heads until we figure it out. It’s not like what you see in the movies. It’s slow, steady work. We have parts scattered across the benches and blueprints pinned to the walls. We don't have a fancy reception area. If you come to see us, you’ll probably have to step over a piece of steel or a toolbox. It’s a real working environment. We’ve seen the estate grow and change around us, but we just keep doing what we do. It’s about moving heavy stuff from point A to point B without it falling apart. That’s the long and short of it for everyone working here.
