Our office is in Bhosari, over at Jai Ganesh Samrajya. We are in Unit-K2, which is Row House number 50, right by the Panjarapol area. It feels more like a home than an office because, well, it is a row house. We have the downstairs area set up with a couple of long tables where we do most of our writing and meetings. People come by all the time to talk about local stuff or to get help with different forms. It can get pretty loud when the kids are playing in the street outside, but we do not mind it much. The walls are mostly bare, except for a calendar and a few notices we have pinned up. We spend a lot of our time just listening to what people have to say about their jobs or their families. It is not always easy, and sometimes the discussions go on late into the evening. We usually have a pot of tea going on the small stove in the back. There is always someone coming in with a question or a story to tell. We do not have a fancy sign or anything, just the address that people know. It is a practical place for practical people. We just try to be available when someone has a problem they cannot solve on their own. It is just how things are done here in our part of town.
