We are located in Shirur, which is on the outskirts of Pune. Our office is number 10 at Gat No 298/1, right near the Yesh Inn Chowk. It’s a pretty busy intersection, so there is always a lot of movement outside. We deal with export and import tasks from this small room. The walls are a bit plain, and we have a few maps pinned up to help us visualize where everything is going. Shirur has its own pace, a bit slower than the main city of Pune but still quite active with all the industrial growth happening around here. We usually start our day early before the heat gets too bad. The office doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles. We have some sturdy chairs, a couple of heavy desks, and a lot of folders stacked in the corner. Most of our work is done over the phone or through emails, coordinating with people across the state and beyond. Sometimes we walk over to the chowk to grab some snacks or tea during our breaks. The traffic can get backed up on the highway nearby, and we can hear the trucks honking all afternoon. It’s a straightforward business environment. We are just a local team trying to make sense of the global trade markets while sitting in a quiet corner of Maharashtra. We find that being out here helps us stay focused on the real work.
