Manman

Manman is situated at S No 1157 in Sadashiv Peth, right across from the Bhave School. If you know Pune, you know Sadashiv Peth is full of narrow streets and very old buildings. Parking is always a bit of a headache around here, so most of us just walk or use two-wheelers to get to work. Our office is tucked away in a spot that’s been part of the neighborhood for a long time. It’s a traditional area, and our building fits right in with the rest. It’s not a glass-and-steel corporate office. It’s more like a lived-in space where we’ve set up our desks and equipment. We hear the school bell ring every day, which tells us when it’s lunchtime or time to head home. We don’t do much in terms of flashy signs or big promotions. We just handle our daily business as it comes. The rooms are a bit cramped because we have so much stuff stored, but we know where everything is. It’s a quiet enough operation most of the time. We have a few regulars who drop by, and the rest of our work is done through phone calls and local connections. We’ve been here so long that we’re just part of the furniture in the Peth. It’s a simple, honest setup, and we don’t feel the need to change it into something it isn't. We just keep working.
