We are based out of Mittal Society over in Pratik Nagar. If you know Yerwada, you probably know the area around house 22/12. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it’s fairly quiet compared to the main roads in Pune. Our work involves a lot of site visits, but this is where we keep our tools and do our planning. There are a few of us who handle the projects, mostly small residential stuff or renovations that people need done. We don't have a big corporate office; it’s more of a home-base where we meet to discuss the day's schedule. My cousins and I have been doing this for a few years now. Sometimes we are out all day at a site and only come back here late in the evening to lock up. The office is full of blueprints, measuring tapes, and some samples of materials. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in Pune, just doing enough work to keep the crew busy and the bills paid. People usually call us when they have a leak or want to add a room. It gets dusty and messy sometimes, especially when we are moving equipment around the society. We just try to get the jobs done properly without making too much of a fuss. It’s a local business and we like it that way.
