Mane Satish Foundation

We are located right here in Pendhar, which is part of Panvel, in house number 339 (B-1). It is a quiet spot in the Raigad area. Most of us here grew up in this neighborhood, so we know the people and the lanes pretty well. Satish started this whole thing because he saw a lot of things that needed doing around the community. It is not a big fancy office or anything like that. We just operate out of this house. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when everyone shows up at once, but we manage somehow. We spend our days dealing with whatever comes up. Panvel is changing fast, with all the new buildings coming up, but Pendhar still feels like home to us. We do not have a big team of experts. It is mostly just us and a few neighbors who want to help out. If you are passing by the Raigarh district side, you will find us easily. People usually just knock on the door if they need something. We do not really do the whole formal meeting thing unless it is absolutely necessary. It is more about sitting down and figuring out how to solve a problem. Life in the village is simple but busy. We try to keep things moving along for everyone. It has been a few years now since we set up at H No 339, and we have seen a lot of kids grow up. We are just staying put.
