Dave Traders

You can find us at Dave Traders on Shivaji Road, right in the heart of things near the Dagdusheth Temple. The address is a bit of a mouthful because we're in the B Wing of Mandar Apartment, which is opposite Tiranga Bhavan. It gets incredibly crowded around here, especially during festival times when the whole street is packed with people going to the temple. Our shop is tucked away, so you have to look for the sign near Bhudhar Peth. We deal in various goods, mostly trading things that local businesses and residents need. The space is filled with boxes and items waiting to be picked up. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes, but we know where everything is kept. My family has been working in this area for a long time, so we’ve seen the shops around us change hands many times. We don't bother with fancy displays or marketing stuff. People know where we are and they come to us when they need something specific. The noise from the street is constant, with bells and people talking and horns honking. We’re used to it by now. We start the day early to beat the worst of the heat and stay until the evening rush starts to die down. It’s honest work in a very busy part of the city. We keep things moving as best as we can every single day.
