Fergusson College Road is always busy, so finding a quiet moment at our office at 925/D4 can be a challenge. Mandar A Gadre & Associates has been tucked away here in Fateganj for a while. We aren't a huge firm with dozens of receptionists. It’s mostly just a few of us trying to stay organized amidst all the files and blueprints. The parking situation on FC Road is a nightmare, as anyone who lives in Pune knows, so we usually tell people to come early or take a rickshaw. Inside the office, it’s pretty standard. We’ve got some old wooden chairs that creak a bit and a printer that only works when it feels like it. We spend a lot of our time looking at documents and talking on the phone. It’s not glamorous work, but it fills the day. We don’t spend money on fancy brochures or big signs. Most people find us because someone they know told them where we were. The tea stall downstairs is where we spend our breaks, just watching the students and shoppers go by. It’s a good spot to be, even with the noise. We keep a regular schedule, starting around ten and staying until the work is finished. There’s no big secret to how we operate. We just show up, do the work that needs doing, and try not to let the piles of paperwork get too high.
