My workspace is located in Shivaji Nagar, Versova. To be precise, it’s at Fortune 1206 in building A-13 on Shirole Road. It’s a bit of a specific address, so I usually have to give people directions when they come over for the first time. The area around Shirole Road is quite active, and there is always something going on. My office is a small unit, 205, which is just the right size for what I do. It’s mostly just me here, though sometimes I have someone help out with the paperwork. I spend a lot of my time on the computer or making phone calls to coordinate things. The building is one of those typical mixed-use structures you find in Versova. It’s nothing fancy, just a room with some desks, a good lamp, and way too many pens. I like working in Shivaji Nagar because it’s close to a lot of other businesses I deal with. The mornings are usually spent catching up on emails, and then I try to get out for site visits or meetings in the afternoon. Traffic in Versova can be quite heavy, so I try to stay put during the peak hours if I can help it. It’s a simple, practical way to work. I don’t have a big corporate setup, just a quiet corner where I can focus and get my projects finished without too much distraction. It is a good place to keep things moving along.
