We’re tucked away in Shop No. 12 at Chetna Apartment on East Street. If you know Pune Camp, you know it’s always crowded and full of life. Being near Safi Lane means there’s always something happening right outside the door. Manaam Impex is a small operation. We focus on import and export tasks. It’s a lot of coordination between different parties. The shop isn’t very big, but we’ve made the most of the space with shelves and a couple of desks. We’ve been here for a while and the neighbors are all familiar faces now. We don’t do big fancy presentations. Usually, it’s just us on the phone or responding to emails all morning. The afternoon is for sorting out the logistics side of things. It’s an old building, so it has that specific feel to it. Sometimes the parking on East Street is a total nightmare, but that’s just part of being in Camp. We don't have a huge staff, just a few people who know the business well. We try to be straightforward with everyone we deal with. No big promises, just doing the job as it comes. It can be a bit dusty with the street traffic, but we keep the place tidy. Most of our day is spent making sure the documentation is perfect because one mistake can hold up everything. It's a steady rhythm and we like it that way. Most days, we just want to get through the paperwork.
