Malpani &Co.

Our shop, Malpani & Co., is right on the Main Road in Shukrawar Peth. We are situated at 1538, which is very close to Sarkar Chowk. If you know that area, you know it is always humming with activity. Pune is a big city but this corner feels like a small village sometimes because everyone knows everyone. We have been operating from this location for quite a while now. The building is old but sturdy. We do not have a lot of modern decor or anything like that. It is just shelves, some old desks, and the goods we sell. People drop by throughout the day, some just to say hello while they are passing through Sarkar Chowk. We keep the shop open pretty long hours to make sure we are there when people need us. It gets a bit chaotic during the festival seasons because the traffic on Main Road becomes a nightmare. But we just manage it like we always do. There is no big secret to how we run things. We just try to be decent and do our work properly. We handle the accounts ourselves and look after the place as best as we can. It is a bit of a squeeze when a lot of customers come in at once, but we make it work. That is just how life is here in the heart of the city. We keep the floor swept and the stock ready.
