Our place is situated out on the Pune-Paud Road at Gat No: 316-319 in Ambadvet. It’s a bit of a trek from the main city, near Pirangut, but having the extra space is necessary for what we do. At Mahindra Tsubaki Conveyor Systems, we spend our days around large steel structures and long assembly lines. The facility is quite big because conveyor systems take up a lot of room while they are being put together. It’s a noisy environment with plenty of welding and metalwork happening at all hours. We have a mix of people working here, some who live nearby and others who come in from the city every day. During the monsoon, the rain on the tin roof is so loud you have to shout to be heard, but you get used to it after a while. We don't have a polished lobby or anything fancy like that. If you come to visit, you’ll probably see us in our work gear near the production floor. It’s a straightforward way of working. We look at drawings, check the measurements, and make sure the parts fit together. There’s always a bit of grease on the tables and some scrap metal in the corners. It’s a practical life, and we don't try to make it sound like anything else. We just build conveyors and keep the workshop running as best as we can every day.
