Mahindra Logistics is based out of Flat No. 1 at Kaladeep Classic, which sits near the Giriraj Railway Crossing in Bijlee Nagar, Chinchwad. Being near a railway crossing means we hear the trains going by all day, which is actually quite fitting since we spend our time thinking about transport and how things get moved around the country. Chinchwad is a busy part of Pune, and our little office in Kaladeep Classic is where the local planning happens. It’s a straightforward setup. We have our desks, some old filing cabinets, and a whiteboard where we scrawl notes about upcoming deliveries. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy office lobby. We just need a place to sit and work. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so it stays relatively quiet when the trains aren't passing. We’ve got a small team here, and we all know each other well. Most days are spent chasing up drivers or sorting out issues with bills of lading. It’s practical, everyday work. We don't have any grand slogans; we just try to make sure that the logistics side of things doesn't break down. If you’re ever in Bijlee Nagar and see the Kaladeep building, that’s where we are, just doing our thing and keeping an eye on the clock. It’s a decent place to work and we’ve gotten used to the sound of the crossing bells.
