Mahindra Logistics Ltd has a presence here in Narayan Peth, Pune. We operate out of Flat No. 1 in the Vaibhav Laxmi Apartment building at number 294. We’re working here with Mrs. Uma Bagade. Narayan Peth is one of those old-school parts of Pune with narrow streets and a lot of history. It’s not the easiest place to park, but it’s got a lot of character. Our office is a converted flat, so it feels more like a home than a workplace sometimes. We have our files in what used to be a living room and our computers set up where the dining table probably was. It’s a practical way to run things in this part of the city. We handle the logistics paperwork and coordination from here. It gets quite busy during the day with people coming in and out, but that’s just life in Pune. The apartment building is well-known in the area, so visitors don’t usually have a hard time finding us. We don't have any flashy signs or corporate branding all over the walls. It’s just a simple space where we get our work done. Most of us have worked here for years and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. We drink a lot of tea and spend a lot of time on the phone. It’s a straightforward operation. We focus on the daily logs and making sure the transport schedules are met. It’s nothing special, just our daily work life.
