Our office is located at Flat 32 on the third floor of Kamaldeep Gardens. It’s in the B-2 building right across from Pragati Park B3/B4 in the Kondhwa area of Pune. We’ve been working out of this spot for a while now. It isn't a fancy corporate headquarters with glass walls. It is just a regular flat that we’ve turned into a workspace for the Mahindra Lifespace team. The stairs can be a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, which happens sometimes. From our windows, you can see the daily bustle of Kondhwa. It gets pretty loud with the traffic outside, but we’re used to it by now. We spend our days here going over building plans and dealing with all the paperwork that comes with property development. There are desks pushed against the walls and plenty of files stacked up in the corners. We keep a pot of tea going most mornings to get us through the day. It’s a simple, practical place. We don't have a big reception desk or a fancy lobby. If someone comes by, they usually just knock and walk right into the middle of whatever we are doing. We like being in this part of town because it feels real. It’s not tucked away in some sterile IT park. We are right in the neighborhood where things are actually happening. Most of us have been here long enough that we know the local shops and the best places to grab a quick snack during our afternoon break.
