We are based out of Chinchwad, which is a place that everyone knows is full of factories and workshops. It’s a very industrial part of the world, and that suits us just fine. We deal with a lot of different things, but here at this location, it’s mostly about the day-to-day operations of the transport side. The air usually smells a bit like metal and oil because of all the work going on nearby. It’s a busy place with a lot of people moving around at all hours. Our office is a practical spot where we manage the local side of things. We aren't here to give sales pitches. We are here to make sure the work gets done and the parts or vehicles are where they need to be. Most of us have been working in this area for years, so we’ve seen how much Chinchwad has changed and grown. It used to be much quieter, but now there’s always traffic and noise. We just stay focused on our tasks. We have a routine that works for us. We drink a lot of tea and talk to a lot of vendors. It’s not the kind of job where you wear a suit and tie every day. It’s more about being on the ground and making sure nothing stops moving. That’s what keeps the lights on around here. We just try to be useful and keep our heads down while we get through the daily list of chores and logs. It's a living.
