If you look for us in Pune, you’ll find Mahindra International Ltd. tucked away in Kothrud. Our office is at C-6, 1-Shantiban Housing Society, which is right in Guruganesh Nagar on Paud Road. It’s a bit of a different vibe being in a housing society rather than a big glass office building, but it suits us just fine. It’s a lot quieter here, which helps when we are trying to focus on all the international shipping details we have to manage. We have a small crew working out of this space. The morning usually starts with checking emails and seeing what happened overnight with the shipments. Kothrud is a nice part of Pune, and being on Paud Road means we are close to everything we need. We don't have any big signs or anything too loud outside. We just have our office set up where we can handle our business quietly. There are usually files scattered around and someone is always on a call with a customs agent or a transport company. We take our work seriously, but the atmosphere is pretty relaxed. We might spend ten minutes arguing about where to order lunch from before getting back to the logistics paperwork. It’s a practical way to run a company. We like the local feel of being in Shantiban, and it makes coming to work every day feel a bit more personal.
