We’re over in Navi Peth in Pune, specifically at Gokul Society, number 21. We are staying with Sahashtrabuddhe for now. It’s near Mhatre Bridge, which is a landmark most people in Pune know. The office is just a regular house in the society. It’s a quiet area, which is a nice change from the main roads. We’ve been operating as Mahindra Gesco Dev. Ltd. from here. It’s not a big glass office building. It’s more like a home that’s been turned into a workspace. We have our files in the cupboards and a few computers set up on old tables. It’s a simple setup. We spend our days dealing with development plans and paperwork. Sometimes the neighbors come by to chat. We don’t have a big corporate sign outside, just a small one so people know they’re at the right place. It feels very local. We don’t have a fancy canteen. We just bring our lunch from home or go to a small joint nearby. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed, though we do stay busy. We don’t use a lot of big words or try to sound like we’re from a big city headquarters. We just do our work. Being in Navi Peth gives us a good connection to the rest of the city. It’s a practical spot for us, and we’ve settled in quite well over the years. This place suits us fine.
