Maheshwari Forging

At S. No. 14/2 in the Anand Industrial Estate, you will find Maheshwari Forging. We are located in the Anand Nagar area of Bhosari. This part of the city is packed with all kinds of workshops and small manufacturing units. Our space is not very large, but we have managed to fit all the equipment we need for our forging work. The machines take up almost all the room we have. It is a lot of metal and grease everywhere. The floors stay pretty oily no matter how many times we try to sweep them up. Working in Bhosari means you are always surrounded by the sounds of other people working on their own projects. There is always a grind or a hum coming from somewhere nearby. We usually start our shift early in the morning before the sun gets too high and makes it too hot. By the middle of the day, the forge makes the whole shop feel like an oven. We drink plenty of water and just keep our heads down. The walls have some old calendars on them and some tools hanging from rusty hooks. We do not use any fancy software to run the place, just some old notebooks to keep track of what we are making each day. The Anand Industrial Estate can be a maze if you are not used to the streets. We get our steel in big trucks that barely fit through the narrow lanes. It is hard work and your hands are always black. We are just a group of guys making parts.
