Our PUC center is right there in Khadki G H B, near the Hatkeshwar Mahadev Bus Stand. We are on the Khokhra Main Road in Khokhara 20. It's a busy spot because of the bus stand nearby, so there's always a lot of smoke and noise. I spend most of my day outside or under a small awning checking vehicles. It's a simple setup with the machine and the computer. People pull up in their cars or bikes, and I get the testing done as fast as I can. Sometimes the internet connection for the certificate upload is slow, and we all just have to wait a bit. I’ve been doing this for a while, so I know most of the regular drivers who pass through here. It’s a dusty job, and my clothes usually have a bit of grease or dirt on them by the end of the day. There’s a small tea stall nearby where I get my breaks. The sun can be quite harsh on the main road, so I wear a cap most of the time. I don't have a big office or anything, just the small booth. It’s a practical business, keeping the vehicles legal and checked. People usually come in a hurry, so I try not to talk too much unless they want to. It’s just me running the show here most days. The machine needs a good wipe down every couple of hours or so.
