We operate out of Saniwar Peth in Pune, right by the Angul Vastigrah. This is an old part of the city and the streets are quite narrow. It makes it a bit of a challenge when we have deliveries coming in or out. Being in the steel business means things are heavy and loud most of the time. Our office is more like a workspace where we keep track of everything. We don't have any air conditioning, just a couple of ceiling fans that work pretty hard in April and May. The walls are a bit stained from the years of work, but we don't mind. It feels like home to us. Pune has changed so much with all the IT companies, but here in the Peth area, things still feel traditional. We deal with iron and steel in various forms. It is a gritty job. My hands are usually a bit dirty by lunch. We have a small group of workers who have been with us for years. We eat our lunch together and talk about the local news. We don't bother with fancy talk. We just weigh the metal, settle the bills, and move on to the next task. It is a steady life. People know where to find us if they need material. We just keep the doors open and do our bit every day.
